Something New, Something Blue

One of my close girlfriends Rachael is getting married in August and her maids of honor and mother threw her the most delightful shower today.  Nearly everything was homemade or collected from thrift stores which made every little aspect so charming and so Rachael.

I adored all of these little jars of all shapes and sizes she's borrowed and collected for every type and color of flower!

The finger sandwiches were delicious and added to the feel of a whimsical tea party

Rachael's house near LA has a perfect backyard for a bright, sunny get together and her roommates helped her make all the pom poms out of tissue paper that will also be used at the wedding! And how perfect is that cozy little bungalow among the tables?

yummy English tea and tasty desserts made by the bride and friends including red velvet cupcakes, coffee cake, banana breads, blueberry scones, powdered sugar tea cookies, and of course chocolate covered strawberries to go along with the wine and champagne!
Wildflower seeds make supremely sweet party favors.

"Commit random acts of kindness and senseless acts of beauty"

I can only imagine how magical the wedding will be! Rachael will be a gorgeous bride. love.
